Dear Readers,

This edition of PYSSUM Literaria features a wonderful and generous collection of art and ideas, and my heartfelt thanks go out to every contributor who has lent this issue their thought and imagination.

Our theme this time is 'Margins' — a word that at first glance suggests only edges and empty space, but which, on closer look, holds so much more. The literature and art you'll find in these pages doesn't just describe margins from a distance — it inhabits them, questions them, and in some quiet moments, redraws them altogether.

I'm also delighted to share a new beginning for PYSSUM Literaria: starting from April 2026, we have been hosting an offline monthly event series at our physical address at PYSSUM, Lucknow. After many issues spent living on the page and the screen, it feels only right that we should also gather in person — to read aloud, to marvel, to discover, disagree and revel in the variety of human experiences. I hope you will join us.

Finally, my sincere thanks to Prof. Sanghamitra Acharya, whose editorial contribution has enriched this issue with care and insight. I hope you read, relish and refresh yourself with this issue.

Such an intellectually invigorating issue! The contributors have expanded my horizons of understanding about 'margins' as transformative entities. I extend my heartiest congratulations to Ranu ma'am, not only for proposing this insightful theme, but also for collating and combining such rich selection of writings for this issue.

Congratulations, dear Ranu, for bringing out this valuable issue.

Your intellectual rigor and editorial empathy are highly praiseworthy.

The theme,Margins, has been well elucidated in the writings of your contributors.

Even redrawing margins as you yourself pointed out in your heartwarming editorial.

Please accept my best wishes and warm regards.
