Submission Guidelines 

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

PYSSUM Literaria accepts poetry, fiction, non-fiction, book reviews, photos, and visual arts twice a year through email submissions.

How to Submit:

Send submissions to: literaria@pyssum.org

•Include: Brief bio (third person, 100 words), high-resolution photograph, contact details

•Attach work as .doc, .docx, or .pdf (for visual arts: high- resolution JPEG/PNG)

What We Accept:

•Poetry (up to 5 poems)

•Fiction and creative non-fiction (up to 5,000 words)

• Book reviews (1,000-2,000 words)

• Visual arts and photography (3-5 images)

 

REVIEW POLICY:

All submissions are carefully reviewed by our editorial team. Authors receive feedback within 8-12 weeks of submission. The editorial board evaluates work based on originality, literary merit, relevance to the journal's scope, technical quality, and contribution to contemporary discourse.

 

PLAGIARISM POLICY:

PYSSUM Literaria maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism and academic misconduct. All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software following UGC Guidelines. Manuscripts with more than 10% similarity (excluding proper citations) will be returned for revision. Works found to contain plagiarized content will be immediately rejected, and authors will be banned from future submissions.

A call for submissions along with the theme of the issue is announced twice a year across various platforms.

PYSSUM Literaria: A Literary Journal on Disability and Inclusion is a bi-annual international journal committed to celebrating the diverse voices and creative expressions of writers, poets, and artists from every corner of the globe. Our platform serves as a haven for both emerging and established talents, offering them an opportunity to share their unique stories, evocative poetry, visual arts, and artistic narratives with an ever-growing audience.

At PYSSUM Literaria, we believe that the written word has the power to transcend boundaries, ignite inspiration, provoke deep reflection, and cultivate a sense of connection among readers and writers alike. Published in January and July, the journal explores the intersections of creative expression and disability, featuring themed content that challenges traditional perspectives and promotes inclusion.

Each issue presents poetry, fiction, non-fiction essays, book reviews, photography, and visual arts that demonstrate literary excellence while fostering meaningful dialogue about changing mindsets, disability narratives, and inclusive storytelling. Our journal is committed to creating a literary space where art, advocacy, and human diversity converge.
